CHAMPION: Participation Award consists of a series of trophy-like sculptures, which humorously elevate the trivial memory of my childhood. In recent years, the vanilla pudding has become an obsession; an artifact to question the value of personal history. Perhaps having an experience is enough within itself, or should I do better and retain my agency? These trophies tell a story of cheap praise, competence, and irony.
Each trophy is unique and cast in a plastic pudding cup, which makes the casting process destructive to the mold.
